API, data and widget terms

Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Coldwell Banker Summit Realty, Brokerage ("Summitly"). They cover the developer API, the Summitly Pre-Construction Pipeline dataset and the calculator widgets. Our general Terms of Use also apply.
Your key
Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for calls made with them. Revoke a key in your dashboard if it may have been exposed. We may suspend a key that is used in breach of these terms or that harms the service.
What the data includes and does not include
The dataset contains pre-construction project facts from municipal open data, builder websites and Summitly's own checks. Every record lists the source of each field.
It does not contain MLS® listing data. Do not use the API, the widgets or anything built from them to collect MLS® data from Summitly.ca.
Attribution
Some records come from municipal open data published under licences that require attribution. Each response and export includes the attribution text for the records in it. Keep that text with the data wherever you show or share it.
How you may use the data
You may use the data in your own products and analysis within your plan's limits. You may not resell or redistribute the dataset itself, in bulk or in a form that substitutes for it, unless your written agreement with us allows it.
Calculator results are estimates for information only. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and they are not a mortgage approval. Show that to your users.
Widgets
The calculator widgets are free to embed on any lawful website. Keep the widget unmodified, including the "Powered by Summitly" link. We count which websites show a widget (the website's address only) to measure use. People who send their details through a widget are contacted by Summitly, not by the website owner.
Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time from your dashboard; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We email annual customers 7 days before each renewal. Prices are in Canadian dollars before tax.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the API available but do not guarantee it. We may change endpoints with notice in the dashboard. We may change these terms and will post the new version on this page.
